This Past Memorial Day weekend, I was booked to cover the International Festival of Arts & Ideas. Which was held at Stream Academy in (West Hills) New Haven, CT. Growing up just a few streets from this location, it was nostalgic to cover this event.
From 2003 to 2011, I called West Hills home. The West Hills neighborhood belongs to New Haven and is located alongside the West Rock Ridge, which is also a State Park.
Throughout my youth, my family would attend tons of fun and engaging events in the New Haven area and this year's Arts & Ideas festival was no different. Local residents flooded the lawn area outside Stream Academy to converse and to enjoy the free live music.

Thru LongShots Media's Event Photography service, I captured amazing portraits, candids and journalistic event photos. Meanwhile, event goers enjoyed live performances, vendors, food trucks and raffles.
