On a 75 degree night in McDonough, Georgia, we were booked to capture event photography for a 50th Birthday Party. The event took place at the clubhouse and was designed expertly by our client's event planners.
Once on location, I began taking detail and ambiance shots to complement the final album. Making sure to grab sentimental and informational shots so that friends and family who did not attend, could feel as if they were there.
At events like this, I like to capture the entrance of the main guest. These shots usually offer the opportunity to capture raw emotions. Something that can be rare when subjects know that you are photographing them.
Throughout the event, I looked to capture both candid shots and posed portraits of attendees as they enjoyed the party and the company of family and friends. Overall, I had an awesome time capturing this event and most of all meeting a new set of awesome family oriented people. Which is just one of the many perks of my job.
