This month has been amazing for holiday family portraits, and I had an awesome time completing the shoot for Ray's family. I met Ray about 3 years ago when I photographed his small wedding in Dunwoody, Georgia, so I was excited when he reached out to me for this opportunity.
Through my Family Portraits service, which costs $250 and includes portraits, group shots, and candid photos with a 3 day turn-around, I was able to provide some amazing family photos for Ray and his family. We chose Piedmont Park in Midtown Atlanta as the location for the shoot, and even though we didn't have much time to explore the entire park, we made the most of the time we had.
I've been fortunate enough to have been booked to capture portraits at Piedmont Park before, and I've actually added it to the TakePicsHere Photo Location Finder as a recommended spot for photography.
The park has some beautiful city landscapes in the background, and we were able to take advantage of the remaining fall colors as well. The park also has a lot of historic roots in Atlanta, which can be seen in the architecture throughout the park. One of my favorite photos from this shoot is the family photo on the stone steps.
Overall, I truly enjoyed my time photographing this family and I'm looking forward to capturing more photos of them as they grow. Being a family photographer has its perks, and I love being able to document these special moments for families.
